Provide Free Transport to Schools for Post-16 Students

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Enable those 16-18 to obtain bus passes and travel free of charge on school buses as is current for 11-16 year olds. As the education mandate is now 18 years of age, access to these facilities should be provided as standard, especially where these services are already in place.
The Government have the opportunity to enable 16-18 year olds from all backgrounds to access higher education which may be less tenable for people of low income households having serious implications on their education
