Require schools to allow children to bring a mobile phone into school

What the petition asks
Not all schools allow phones onto site and this poses many problems for the children who commute to school by themselves. Reflecting on the current situation on women’s safety when out alone, this needs to be addressed urgently for ALL children for their safety.
This should not only alleviate the growing concern for our children’s safety in a rapidly changing world, but also to allow children the independence to commute to school knowing they have a mobile phone in case of emergencies and/or can be tracked leaving parents safe in the knowledge of their child’s arrival. Schools can remain to operate their own mobile phone usage policy within the school but must move with the times and allow phones onto site.
