Fund and require guards on all passenger trains

What the petition asks
Due to reports of women and girls (and males as well!) of having been bothered, threatened or assaulted on trains with just a driver on board, guards should be required on all trains for passengers' safety.
If anyone as a traveller on trains finds themselves in a threatening or dangerous situation (especially on less busy, later trains) they are often on their own if there is not a guard on board that they can turn to for help and safety. The responsibility is completely theirs to somehow phone for police at the next station, should they be in a position to do so. If not, they can be at the mercy of the ill intentions of a fellow passenger out to harm.
