What the petition asks

Currently there are only two centres in the UK that offer ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) division training. Health professionals have to pay over £800 of their own money to train in frenulotomy (tongue-tie division).

Please mandate that all UK midwifery courses train all midwives in frenulotomy as part of their standard training, in order to meet the significant demand for babies who require this technique.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
