What the petition asks
The Government should:
- Review how cervical instability is diagnosed and treated on the NHS, including potential use of cervical fusion
- Provide funding for more upright MRI and CBCT scanners to aid diagnosis
- Review how cervical instability is diagnosed and treated on the NHS, including potential use of cervical fusion
- Provide funding for more upright MRI and CBCT scanners to aid diagnosis
Because many people are suffering in this country and have had to spend their own money getting a diagnosis by private specialists. After diagnosis, some have to spend money on treatments not always offered by the NHS such as prolotherapy and atlas orthogonal. Physio is simply not enough and can even be detrimental.
Cervical Instability is progressive and causes deterioration over time. It is debilitating and may find themselves bedbound and still unable to claim disability allowance.
