What the petition asks
Football was always the working mans sport and is being influenced by corporate money men making the sport unattainable for the average working family. Some clubs are charging up to £20 for children so a family of 4 are paying £100 minimum for a day of entertainment.
To introduce a fair pricing policy across the football league so that all clubs have the same rules and procedures when it comes to charging visiting supporters to football games.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament is responsible for.
Decisions about the cost of ticket prices are a matter for the FA and individual football clubs, not the Government or Parliament.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
