What the petition asks

The DVLA service has completely broken down during covid and contrary to what is being claimed, they are doing a terrible job of processing applications, often taking over 6 months, or even answering their phones. A full independent audit needs to be done asap.

It's clear looking at their social media that claims they are doing a good job during COVID are completely fabricated. LGV and HGV drivers are waiting over 4 months to get applications processed. Nobody answers the phones, replies to emails, responds to social media messages etc and it's clear that they aren't fit for purpose.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
