What the petition asks
I want the government or parliament to do something positive to empower young people and women especially, so that would feel more confident in intimidating circumstances.
I feel that women and girls or people coming to terms with gender issues, or gay men (the list is long, I am sure) are sometimes in situations where they feel they may have to defend themselves but don't know how, it will give confidence and is a skill I wish I had.
