What the petition asks

Legislate to ban these adverts, similar to how tobacco adverts are banned on TV
TV advertising normalises gambling. Gambling is a major problem that is getting worse, wreaking havoc amongst more and more families, creating higher debt, more financial hardship and extreme emotional and mental health damage. There is a clear and simple opportunity for the government to reverse this trend.

Why it was rejected
