Allow children 7 days holiday per year during term time without fines

Closed 2,578 signatures

What the petition asks

This petition is to request Government to allow parents to take their children out of school (if they want to) for up to 7 days, during term time without being fined.
To allow families to be able to afford to take a holiday each year, because for so many the rise in prices during the holidays just isn't viable. Also to make it easier for parents with children that have health problems or special needs to holiday out of peak season if they need to. Employers struggle during peak holiday times and not all parents are able to take time off when they need to. This would allow more families equal chance to have a holiday when they can afford it or need to go.
