What the petition asks
Better pay for home care and care at home staff, not everyone can do our job, we work unsociable hours, 365 days a year, Missing time with our own families to take care of other people's families as much as we love our job we dont get paid right! Under £10 it should be atleast £14ph
Because carers deserve it. Carers isn't a job for everyone. We do personal care, medication, doctor appointments, call emergency services when required. Deal with abuse on a daily basis. We work long hours every day, under pay and its not the glamorous of jobs, we need something to make people want to become carers and we need better paid.
