Limit sale of fireworks to organised displays
Rejected

What the petition asks
Ban the sale of fireworks to the general public; limit them to organised displays on specific dates which people can plan for.
We have had fireworks going off day and night for several weeks prior to 5th November, basically from when they've gone on sale. They cause so much distress to pets and vulnerable people, and on the night of 5/6 November this year we had them going off all night, they're still going at 10am. And as today is a Saturday, even though Bonfire Night is past, we can expect them again tonight and possibly tomorrow, as it's still the weekend. Then at New Year it will start again.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Make fireworks illegal to buy, with the exception of public displays.
