Ban the use of fireworks in radio & tv advertisements.

What the petition asks
Please ban the use of the noise of fireworks in tv & radio adverts
I request this as the owner of a dog & cats, terrified of the noise of fireworks. It is not fair for animals to be terrorised in their own homes by adverts screeching and banging. Animals left with radio's for company whilst owners are out are traumatised when nobody is there to reassure them of their safety. They can cause serious harm to themselves & each other.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Broadcasting standards are a matter for Ofcom and not for the UK Government and Parliament to decide.
