Allow cancer sufferer to access & use proven herbal medicine by changing the law

What the petition asks
The law prevents herbalists and suppliers of herbs from making any reference to the effectiveness of herbal treatments for cancer. Even qualified medical herbalist are specifically precluded from saying there are herbs which are effective against cancer - despite significant research.
I am a qualified medical herbalist and have effectively treated friends & family with both ovarian and breast cancer with herbs while they were undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy. All had substantial improvements attributable to the herbs. The herbs also have the clinical research evidence to say they are directly effective against cancer and safe to use but qualified herbalists cannot make this claim directly. Many lives are being lost in the most horrendous of cancer treatments.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
