Provide funding to ITT providers to give trainee teachers a salary.

What the petition asks
School Centred Trainee Teachers work very similar hours to the average teacher. This includes doing all the work of a teacher (planning, teaching, marking, etc), and also university/college work for their provider, which can add on at least an extra 10 hours per week.
Doing all the above, full time, with no salary, AND the pressure of university/college deadlines, and often families to provide for but no time in the week to work, is wrong.
Further, the Student Loans aren't enough to keep up with daily expenses. So how are we supposed to provide for ourselves while still getting the most out of our courses?
The country needs Teachers. A salary will not only incentivise more people to train, but also improve the quality of life for those that do.
