Reduce UK citizenship fees to £372

What the petition asks
We want the UK Government to reduce fees for applying for UK citizenship from more than £1000 to £372 (which is what it costs the Home Office to process the application).
The fees for UK citizenship applications are very high, more than £1000.
This is a huge financial burden for people who have been in the UK for years and contributing to our society.
It's also a huge amount of money compared to what other countries charge:
US - about US$725
Italy - about EUR 300
Therefore we ask the UK Government to reduce the fee to £372 (application processing cost).
If the Home Office refuses to do this then they should tell us why it costs so much.
