Make school uniforms more environmentally friendly by removing logo on them .

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop schools from putting logos on uniforms and help the environment so they can be reused , worn outside school, passed on, donated .Over 8million children we’re registered for schools last year , 8million uniforms! .They are quality items that they grow out of before wearing out .
My son recently started senior school with new uniforms. Blazer, tracksuit top, track bottoms, shorts, PE shirt , and PE top all emblazoned with the school logo. He will wear his PE equipment 60 lessons in the academic year . This will not fit him next year .Secondary schools don’t have preloved sales and we have nobody to pass it on to . I’ve still have t shirts and sweatshirts from his previous schools. Make them more environmentally friendly so they can be passed on and worn outside school

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about whether to include a school logo on uniforms are a matter for individual schools, not the Government or Parliament. As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
