Pass an Indoor Clean Air Act

What the petition asks
As the Clean Air Act 1956 made our cities safer places to live we need legislation to make all indoor public spaces safer places in which to be and breathe.
We want legislation that sets minimum standards for ventilation and air filtration in indoor spaces where the public meet outside their homes.
The SARSCoV 2 virus is here to stay. There is no guarantee that this virus will get less serious, and with new variants it could get more serious.
Vaccination alone is not enough. We need protective measures to keep transmission as low as possible to reduce the number of infections.
As one of the primary modes of transmission is aerosol spread one of the most important protections is clean indoor air in all shared indoor spaces outside of the home.
