Prohibit schools from having CCTV in toilets or changing rooms

What the petition asks
The Government should ban schools from having CCTV in toilets or changing rooms, so no new cameras can be installed, and any existing cameras must be removed.
Some schools have installed CCTV in bathroom areas to stop bullying and vandalism, but what about the right to go to the bathroom in private?
Allowing CCTV to be installed in school bathrooms and changing rooms could intrude on the privacy of students.
We teach children about private areas and spaces from a young age and this should be reflected in protections for private spaces.
We believe the ability of schools to place CCTV in private areas creates serious safeguarding issues.
