Add disability awareness to the national curriculum
Closed
267 signatures
What the petition asks
All primary and secondary schools in England should be required to teach about the different types of disabilities that people can have, visible and invisible, to foster greater understanding by children.
We need the Government to take action and ensure that disability is better understood. Adding disability awareness to the national curriculum could help tackle the misunderstanding, and even bullying, that many children with disabilities face.
