Make St George’s Day a national holiday in England

What the petition asks
Recognise our Saint’s day by declaring a public holiday.
England appears very divided internally amongst its population at present. Recognising and celebrating our traditions, heritage and culture is a positive step towards remembering who we are as a nation and St George’s Day has traditionally been known as England’s day so it is an appropriate date on which to celebrate.
