Increase regulation of animal sales

What the petition asks
We believe that the legislation surrounding animal sales is insubstantial and should be changed to incorporate new requirements for breeders, and restrictions on sales and advertising of sales.
New regulations should include:
Animals to be sold through the breeder only, not through pet shops and third parties (this law currently only applies to cats and dogs)
All breeders to be licensed regardless of species or number of litters
Adverts for stud animals to be banned
Adverts for animal sales to be banned in the month prior to Christmas and the month prior to Easter
Animals must have had their recommended vaccinations before being sold
