What the petition asks
We want the Government to create a fund, available to all local police forces, to enable increased enforcement of road traffic offences by cyclists and people using scooters, including cycling on the pavement illegally.
We are concerned that local authorities and the police are failing to take the required action to tackle road traffic offences by cyclists and people using scooters.
Cyclists and people using scooters who commit road traffic offences, including speeding and illegal use of pavements, puts pedestrians at danger.
