Petition · past parliament

Keep coriander roots on the plants sold in all shops in the UK. No exceptions.

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Mandate a legal requirement for all coriander plants, packs and loose leaves to be sold with the root still attached. It is unacceptable that my curry pastes sometimes include coriander stem, not root.
CURRY.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a decision for individual retailers.
