Make GP practices fully resume pre covid services face to face appointments etc

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Go back to normal opening times. Allow people to walk in to speak to receptionists face to face. Resume face to face appointments. Resume full staffing levels and offer all pre covid services. Resume advance appointment making system.
Extremely difficult to make appointments or speak to receptionist / dr via telephone. My daughter couldn’t get appointments, could not see a GP face to face and her diagnosis and treatment of a brain tumour was delayed due to this, putting her life at risk. People’s lives are being put at risk due to skeleton staff and reduced services.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions relating to GP appointments, including decisions on whether face-to-face appointments are appropriate, are operational matters for the NHS and individual GPs, not the UK Government or Parliament.
