Require GP surgeries to accept repeat prescription orders by phone

Closed 40 signatures

What the petition asks

The Government should require GP practices to accept repeat prescription requests over the phone - it is absolutely ridiculous that with a current pandemic still ravaging our country, some people are having to order a repeat prescription in person in the surgery, or online.
People have been facing difficulties when it comes to ordering their repeat prescriptions through their GP surgery. How exactly are the more than 14 million people in this country who are disabled, elderly or non-internet users supposed to manage getting the vital prescriptions that they need, without being able to order over the phone with ease?
