Doctor surgery’s to go back to post covid times before telephone consultations

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Ever since covid the GP’s have been doing telephone calls and very rarely face to face. This needs to change back to face to face no matter what. This has lead to loads of misdiagnosed cases and missed information. It feels like the surgery’s are using covid as a smoke screen to do less interaction
If people can go to packed supermarket’s with no masks, events with no masks even football stadiums with no masks. Why can’t we go back to face to face as it is less risk?
Like I said GP surgery’s are using covid as a scape goat and it feels like patients are getting neglected.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions relating to GP appointments, including decisions on whether face-to-face appointments are appropriate, are operational matters for the NHS and individual GPs, not the UK Government or Parliament.
