Fund free sanitary products for endometriosis sufferers

Closed 144 signatures

What the petition asks

I suffer from an incurable chronic disease called endometriosis, which affects 1 in 10 women. This can cause heavy, long lasting periods. You can suffer from this as early as 10 years old. Having to find money to cover the costs of sanitary products is very hard.
As well as having to pay for sanitary products we have to pay for pain medication. Young girls whose parents can’t afford sanitary products can miss out on their education if they can’t, or don’t want to attend without this protection.

This is heart breaking and something needs to be done. Too many women are missing time off work in horrendous pain and can't afford these essentials items.
We weren’t given the option to live with this illness. Please help raise awareness and sign this petition. Thank you.
