Set up a legal register of step parents and partners including DBS checks.

What the petition asks
To set up a register that partners in all forms, step parents , partners, inc date partners have to sign by law including an indepth DBS check they pay for.
The register must be available to social services, schools, police.

Too many children are physically, emotionally, sexually abused and finally murdered by the step parent or partner of children that are not genetically theirs.
If they are made to sign the register regardless if it is a new, short or full term relationship this will give protection to voiceless babies and children. A thorough DBS check paid by partner will show any convictions for violence, drugs and so on. We cannot allow anymore excuses. It is everyone's duty including the government.
