Ask Universities to provide remote learning methods and assessments in 2022

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Amend new regulations to ask universities to provide dual-track learning methods in lectures and assessments.
With respect to the current covid situation and social infection, universities should implement more approaches for dual-track learning methods and assessment.
Due to the current infection rate within the UK, students are gathering around on campus for assessments and classes. As people gathered around on campus, more and more covid cases will have resulted.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about how to deliver teaching and assessments are a matter for individual universities, not the Government or Parliament. As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
