What the petition asks

I want only "Gas Safe" registered engineers to be allowed to buy regulated gas appliances, that have to be installed by a competent person. The law is only "Gas Safe" registered engineers can fit these but anyone can buy them with no prior check

I want only "Gas Safe" registered engineers to be able to buy Gas Boilers, Cookers and Fires. A register should also be kept of who has bought the product and where the product has been fitted, to ensure that there is a comprehensive record of purchases and installations. This should cut the legs from under rogue engineers.
