More support in mainstream schools for children with SEN needs
Rejected

What the petition asks
My son started reception this year in September 2021 and after 2 days the headteacher said this school is not suited for him. After accepting him with his EHCP and receiving the highest funding ASC1.
Mainstream schools need more support and more teachers with experience on how to deal with SEN and make children and families feel accpeted rather than giving up on the children.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you want schools to receive more 'support' to help them support children with SEN, however it's not clear whether you want them to receive financial support, training, or something else.
