Make people with hyperthyroidism eligible for free prescriptions.

What the petition asks
Currently people diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) must pay for prescriptions for the medication they need. If they do not take medication to suppress thyroid activity they may die. They also need medicine to counter the effect of hyperthyroidism on the heart.
People with hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) or those who have had their thyroid removed and are on Levothyroxine are exempt from prescription costs. Making those with hyperthyroidism exempt as well will correct this unfair difference in their treatment.
