Review child protection legislation and procedures

What the petition asks
The UK Government should establish a review, to work with the public, third sector and public sector to consider child protection legislation and practices to consider recent failings, and propose reforms for improvements to better protect children in the future.
It is apparent that existing child protection legislation and practices are not working adequately. A review could consider where existing legislation and practices fall down, and the possibility of changes. This could include looking at the benefits of increased focus on prevention and early interventions to protect children.
