Leave the 1951 Refugee Convention and 1967 Protocol & revoke the Immigration Act

Closed 646 signatures

What the petition asks

The 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol were introduced in an era where such agreements were needed, but we believe that they are no longer fit for purpose.
We also ask that the Government revoke the Immigration Act as we believe that this legislation will not help to accomplish the goals that were outlined by the Government's manifesto.
