What the petition asks
Fund research to look at ways of making COVID home testing kits recyclable, and reducing the amount of packaging used for these.
Coronavirus testing kits are important for reducing the spread of the virus. However, if the Government is going to encourage home testing across the country we need the home testing kits to become more eco-friendly.
E.g. A single sealed bag for all the contents rather than several different ones. Making tests biodegradable or at least recyclable.
