Fund free STI Testing for all in the UK
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
1 in 12 young people are infected with an STI and don’t know it because they do not have symptoms.
If regular STI testing was available discreetly to be delivered once again and we didn’t have to pay more than £20 for a kit then less people would have them because less people would spread them unknowingly.
STIs can be life changing. Protect yourself and others

Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) is already available through the NHS: https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/sexual-health/visiting-an-sti-clinic/
If what you want is for the Government to provide funding to make STI test kits available to order through the post we could accept a petition calling for this in England, but healthcare is a devolved matter in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
