Make it illegal for MPs over the drink drive limit to participate in Parliament

What the petition asks

Pass legislation making it illegal for MPs who are over the drink drive limit to participate and vote in parliamentary business.
People who have impaired judgement due to alcohol consumption are rightly prevented from driving because of the impacts this has. Currently MPs who may have impaired judgement due to alcohol consumption are not prevented from taking part in parliamentary activities, including voting, even though their actions can impact UK domestic and foreign policy. We believe this change would improve the reputation and leadership ability of those who govern us.
