Allow Bioptics while driving in the UK for drivers with visual impairments

What the petition asks
We want the UK Government to make driving more accessible. We want the UK Government to allow Bioptics to be allowed to be used to achieve the eyesight standard for driving, to increase opportunities for people with visual impairments that need Bioptics to drive.
I have always dreamt about the freedom to drive. The only way I can have this freedom is through Bioptics. Bioptics are special glasses that help mildly visually impaired people like me do things we normally wouldn’t be able to. These however are not legal to use while driving in the UK, but have been deemed safe enough to use in the US. We need this change.
