Stop the blame of sexual assault without any valid proof on innocent men
Rejected

What the petition asks
Why are innocent men being sentenced for sexual abuse when there is no valid proof. How can you sentence and blame a man on just verbal evidence ??
The government needs to stop listening to girls who are bringing up cases from 10+ years old. And that too based on no physical evidence. Where were the parents of these girls if they were getting sexually assaulted?? What is the proof of sexual assault?? How can we believe a verbal statement and sentence innocent people??
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about people being convicted of certain criminal offences, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Prosecutors are already required to demonstrate the guilt of defendants beyond reasonable doubt in order for them to be convicted, and it's not clear what changes you want the Government to make to existing rules about criminal convictions.
You could start a new petition explaining more clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
