What the petition asks
Banning the manufacture and sale of these types of vehicles will be harmful to people's livelihoods and the UK economy.
We should instead be imposing tougher restrictions on where you can drive these vehicles and how often you can trade them.
We should instead be imposing tougher restrictions on where you can drive these vehicles and how often you can trade them.
For example getting a new car every 3 years is entirely unnecessary and is creating too many surplus vehicles.
Surly we can make strides towards upgrading older vehicles to better standards instead of creating new ones.
However banning vehicles inside large built up areas such as Cities is definitely of some benefit and will achieve cleaner air.
