Revoke Tony Blair's Knighthood.

What the petition asks

Stop Tony Blairs recent award in the New years Hounours list. This award has not only angered and disgusted the British public it has brought into question the whole Honours system and how there awarded.
In a lot the general publics eyes this man should never had been conferred this award. The fact he held the position of PM , for which he has had more than enough renumeration , should not automatically entitle him for the highest order this Country can award. Also this is demeaning the whole awards system and as such is making those awards issued to genuine cases worthless.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions that relate to honours and appointments, which includes calling for an honour to be removed.
