What the petition asks
Currently holiday company's allow children under the age of 2 to travel for free, I would like the government to ask those companies to allow children born in 2020 to travel for free until they turn 3 or 4
Holidays were stopped due to covid, parents have missed out on 2 years of being able to travel on holiday without the cost of having to pay for their baby, we suffered enough through those 2 years allow us the chance to take our children on holiday for free
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about what ages an infant is entitled to free travel are a matter for individual travel companies, not the Government or Parliament.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
