Enable the public to veto honours from being granted
Closed

What the petition asks
The Government should reform the honours system so that members of the public can object to an honour being granted, and if a sufficient number of people object the honour cannot be granted.
We believe the current honours system is being diminished and undermined by honours being awarded to some that the electorate may consider unworthy. In a democracy the people should have the right to object to such awards.
