Pay people to get vaccinated, including retrospective payments

What the petition asks
We have a moral duty to support restrictions that save lives and the NHS but vaccine uptake is stuck at around 70% of the eligible population.
It's also clear that the vast majority of ICU beds are being taken up by people who haven't been vaccinated.
We must incentivise uptake.

Forcing people to vaccinate or fining them is wrong but we can't indefinitely restrict our and our children's lives if it's only to protect those refusing vaccinations.
So let's pay people to get the jab. For the sake of fairness, this payment should also be retrospective.
This would cause a bit of inflation and cost billions. But most of the money would stay in the UK and these costs would be dwarfed by the other costs associated with our Covid response. It would also speed up our economic recovery.
So the main question is determining the optimum price point.
