Repeal Tony Blair’s knighthood

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the government to have a full debate on why this honour is being awarded.
This decision to award a Knighthood to Tony Blair is very controversial based on his historical decisions whilst Prime Minister of UK. An alternative petition (Change.org) that has already drawn circa 500,000 signatures is being ignored (ref: Jacob Rees Mogg statement 04/01/22). It is time that Parliament and it’s representative’s started listening to its electorate!

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions that relate to honours and appointments, which includes calling for an honour to be removed.
