Redeploy Ofsted Inspectors to work in schools while inspections are suspended.

What the petition asks
Help to ease the current crisis in schools both financially and in terms of staffing by redeployment the inspectorate to schools who are struggling to stay open or having to create class sizes of 60 in order to stay open.
I am a teacher myself, I have just signed up to do supply because I am part-time. Speaking with the supply agencies, they have said that there is lots of work to be done. Schools are under a lot of financial pressure too, buying in supply is very costly on top of salaries.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be an operational decision for Ofsted and depend on the contracts of inspectors.
