Abolish CAZ Manchester
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
The plans to enforce a clean air zone in and around Manchester needs to be reconsidered.
Government has the power to over turn this decision.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The setting up of a Clean Air Zone in the Greater Manchester area is a matter for the Mayor of Greater Manchester and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, not the UK Government or Parliament. The Government is therefore not directly responsible for the action this petition calls for.
