What the petition asks
The BBC is a public service and very good value for money. It is also one of the best broadcasters in the world. This government wants to destroy it by abolishing the licence fee. We want to stop this.
Have a debate and initiate a public consultation on the issue.

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
