What the petition asks
Urgent signatures needed to stop NHS collapsing and threatening patient safety
Covid cases are reducing. On February 3 the NHS will begin sacking staff who have not had their first jab. Not only front line workers, but also non-clinical staff like secretaries, receptionists, porters, cleaners.

More than 80,000 (6% of workforce) remain unvaccinated.
Government estimates 73,000 NHS staff in England may leave rather than get jabbed.
Disproportionately higher number of staff from ethnic minorities affected…..up to 40% of nurses and midwives in some regions.
There are currently vacancies for almost 100,000 NHS jobs, including 40,000 nursing posts.
Losing 73,000 staff on top of this could collapse the NHS
Patient care will suffer.
